Sculptures by LegHead (8 x 10)
The sculptor known only as LegHead can be found at Prince Street just west of Broadway. His nom d’arte is clearly based on the fact that he wears one of his sculptures of a heavily decorated three foot long cast of a woman’s lower body upside down on top of his head. His work seems to be a combination of collage, painting and decoupage onto fiberglass body casts, glass bottles and sometimes even canvas. |
