Sicilian Traces

At the crossroads
leading out of island
fireflies resurrected.

A luminous act
said to be a sharp tool
digging into the skin
of the initial formation,
slowly coagulating
in the last stage
of consciousness.

The eye held hostage
by the lights.

We
have reached the apex
of the sensual curves
of the oranges.

— Little lamps in a macroscape
vibrant w/ a gala life
